01 — My Story

I Know What It Feels Like When Your Body Stops Cooperating

I've been coaching for nearly 20 years. But the turning point in my career didn't come from a certification or a textbook. It came from my own body breaking down.

At my strongest, I was squatting close to 400 pounds. Then knee pain arrived and I couldn't make it go away. Within a short time, I couldn't squat 75 pounds without significant discomfort. I was frustrated, confused, and not sure what to do. Physical therapy didn't help. I was stuck with a problem and had to find my own solution.

"It pushed me to understand not just how to train but why bodies hurt, and how to help them heal."

That experience led me into a much deeper study of biomechanics, pain science, movement quality, recovery, nutrition, and what it actually means to coach someone long-term. My focus shifted from training hard to helping people move and feel better for the rest of their lives.

Today, that's exactly what Gameday Fitness is built around. Not intensity for its own sake. Not quick fixes. A thoughtful, structured process that meets you where you are and builds from there.

That looks like 1:1 coaching - in person (private or semi) or online (remote/hybrid) - built around how your body actually moves today.

02 — Coaching Philosophy

A Process Built on Principles, Not Trends

Here's what actually guides how I coach not what sounds good on a wall.

01

Movement Quality First

Before we add load or intensity, we make sure you're moving well. Poor mechanics under stress is a recipe for pain. Good mechanics under stress is how you get stronger.

02

Understand the Cause

Pain is a signal, not a diagnosis. We look at why your body is responding the way it is not just where it hurts.

03

Confidence Before Intensity

You can't build a strong body on a shaky foundation of fear. We build confidence first in your movement, your capacity, and your process.

04

Health Is More Than Exercise

Movement, nutrition, recovery, mindset, and sustainability all matter.

"Most people don't need to be pushed harder.
They need to be guided smarter."

03 — Education & Experience

Nearly 20 Years of Study, Application, and Refinement

Good coaching is built on a foundation of continuous learning. Over the years, I've invested deeply in understanding not just how to train people but how the body works, why it breaks down, and what it needs to recover and thrive.

My own injury pushed me past standard fitness certifications- into biomechanics, pain science, and corrective exercise. I'm certified in pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise and a precision nutrition coach. I've spent nearly 20 years applying all of it across a wide range of clients and conditions.

Biomechanics, Pain Science & Movement

Deep study of how the body moves, compensates, and adapts. This is how to correct patterns that lead to pain and injury.

Strength & Conditioning

Nearly two decades of applied coaching experience across a wide range of clients, goals, and physical conditions.

Nutrition, Recovery, & Longevity Coaching

Practical, sustainable nutrition guidance that supports energy, recovery, and long-term health. Sleep, stress management, and recovery protocols that help the body adapt and stay healthy over the long term.

Mindset & Behavior Change

Understanding the psychological side of fitness — what keeps people stuck, and what actually helps them build lasting habits.

04 — Who This Is For

You Might Be in the Right Place If...

Gameday Fitness was built for a specific kind of person. Not someone looking for a quick fix or a punishing boot camp. Someone who wants to understand their body, move without pain, improve performance, and build health that lasts.

Adults 40–70

You want to stay active and feel strong but you need a program that respects your body's history and doesn't treat you like a 25-year-old athlete.

Dealing with Pain or Limitations

You're dealing with chronic stiffness, old injuries, or physical limitations but you haven't lost the desire to move better.

Frustrated with Past Programs

You've tried things before. Maybe they hurt you, overwhelmed you, or just didn't work. You're done guessing. You want a clear, structured path forward.

Looking for Real Guidance

You're not looking for a generic plan. You want a coach who understands your situation, listens, and builds a process around you not a template.

Ready to Invest in Long-Term Health

You understand that real results take time. You're not looking for a 30-day fix. You want to build something that lasts.

Tired of Feeling Intimidated

Gyms and fitness classes can feel overwhelming if you're not sure what to do. You want a calm, professional environment where you feel supported not judged.
